My Kitten Sits On My Lap And Purrs With Love

I begin to write a story of my life

As my kitten changes my mind

She jumps on my lap just in time

She gets comfty instantly as if thats the way it is

Her love blankets my every thought

She stretches high on her legs into my face

I can not type until I pat her constantly under her chin

Behind her ears and tell her I love her over and over again

I am controlled by a kitten no bigger than a ruler

No wider than a small loaf of Italian bread

How could this be ?

That she can control my next move

I am here to type about life and my dreams

She has other plans it seems

She watches my every move

When I type she makes sure my eyes never leave her sight

She gives me that look like life is all about me don't you see

I am here and ready for attention

You are my owner and I love it this way

I will give you affection

You will give me what I want

If not I will play with those computer keys you need

I will mess up your work and make your computer screen freeze

You may put me down to the floor

I will be persistant and jump on your lap once more

You may put me down again

But I am not finished with you yet

So as you type

i wonder off and get into mischief

You had the chance to give me the love that I need and adore

You will have to come and find me

After calling me time and time again

I look at it as you have two choices

Have me lay on your lap  while you sit and pat me

Or follow me around the house until I am tired and off too sleep

Either way I have you jumping through hoops

Because I am your master and don't ever forget it

You may buy the cat food and take me to the vet I don't like

But I rule  and I am Queen when you are home
